I’ve been meaning to try Before You Speak Coffee for a while, and I finally got around to it this morning. I’m a huge fan of bulletproof coffee (coffee + coconut oil) which is why I wanted to try this one too.
Apart from simply being amazing as it’s coffee, it’s also packed full of other goodies for optimal health. It also tastes freakin INCREDIBLE!!! I was excited to try purely for health reasons, but I’m definitely hooked on the taste too (reminds me actually of Christmas coffees which I am definitely all about)!!
This “high performance coffee” contains:
MCT Powder
MCTs (medium chain triglycerides) are the fats found in coconut oil (and a main part of what makes coconut oil amazing too). This type of fat is not one to be scared of, as it can actually help to metabolise unwanted fat. It’s also great for mental clarity and improving mood, which is why it’s also perfect first thing in the morning!
Siberian Ginseng
I seem to be talking a lot about adaptogens on my blog recently – and for good reason! They are amazing plants which basically help to restore balance in your body. Ginseng helps to regulate cortisol (stress), helping your body to have longer lasting energy, alterness and stamina.
Turmeric
Another of my faves – the golden wonder that is turmeric! A powder anti-inflammatory, as someone who suffers from autoimmune and inflammatory conditions this is one of my go to’s.Β It also has a range of other health benefits, and is also great for the metabolism!
Black Pepper
Not just for a little coffee kick; black pepper assists in the absorption of nutrients, and is especially vital for turmeric!
Green coffee bean extract
