anastasia beverly hills glow kit benefit high beam benefit watts up iconic london highlighter stick sleek highlighter palette review

Ever since highlighters shone their way to beauty trend popularity I have been obsessed! Through my previous roles, and also as part of my general makeup love, I’ve been fortunate enough to try out our various ones. I often get asked too which highlighter I use, and being as extra as I am with my makeup I also use a few different ones daily – Watt’s Up first, after my cream contour, the Iconic stick highlighter after my powder contour and then finally if I want the extra oomph I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit over the top.

The following list includes some of my favourites, as well as what makes them unique; each highlighter is definitely not the same!

benefit watts up highlighter review

Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s Up! Highlighter $53

I’m starting the list with Benefit Watt’s Up, as it’s one of the ones I’ve used the longest, and it also provides the most subtle highlight. A gorgeous gentle champagne shade, this stick highlighter also comes with a buffer on the other end, and is a perfect introduction to the highlighter trend.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Sun Dipped review

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Sun Dipped $72

Next up on the list, one of my all time favourite beauty brands with their Glow Kit which definitely doesn’t disappoint. It’s available in a few different palette options, however Sun Dipped is my favourite. If you want to get technical too, you can use the various shades in different areas of your face, as you would contouring (ideally adding over powder contour to allow it to blend well). For example – the lightest shade in the corner of your eyes and under your brows, and the darker ones for more bronzed cheeks. The pink toned “moonshade” in this palette is also my favourite (yet the one I thought I’d use the least!)

Iconic London Strobing Stick

The Iconic London Strobing Stick

A product as iconic as Kim K herself – also because it’s the one her makeup artist uses on her! This creamy formula is super blendable and the perfect finishing touch to your contour! If you’re a long lasting, completely extra glow – then this is the product you want!

Sleek Makeup Highlighting Kit in Cleopatra's Kiss review

Sleek Makeup Highlighting Kit in Cleopatra’s Kiss $24.95

The most budget friendly option on the list, this Sleek kit is an amazing product! Before I tried this I used to use the lightest shade possible, but after using the darker gold tone in this kit I actually realised that shade was better suited to me! This kit also features both cream and powder highlighters in two different shades each, so it’s super versatile. Like the whole Sleek range, the packaging is as the brand suggests – sleek, so it’s also perfect for keeping with you all day for touch ups!

Benefit High Beam Liquid Highlighter review

Benefit High Beam Liquid Highlighter $45

Another classic Benefit product and the second on the list; they are a massive brand worldwide for good reason – because their products just work! High Beam is a cult classic product, which is still totally relevant today. This product is liquid, as opposed to the other creamy stick or powder options on the list, and so is completely blendable and ideally best applied over a cream or liquid foundation. This is also a favourite of Khloe Kardashian, so you know it’s good!
