They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and while I don’t like to play favourites with my meals (I love them all equally) how you eat first thing really sets the tone for the rest of the day. So, start your day right with my fave energy boosting banana, almond butter and maca protein smoothie! Quick and easy to prepare, packed full of goodness and most importantly – delicious!

To make, simply blend together:

  • Milk or yoghurt of your choice (I love either almond milk, coconut milk or at the moment a probiotic kefir drink for even more gut health benefits!)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (or whichever flavour you like! I find vanilla works best for a base flavour though)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp of almond butter (or more if you like – go nuts! …couldn’t resist sorry)
  • 1 tsp of maca

Then pour into a glass, drink and power on with your day!
